Instant Pot Paleo Chili

The BEST Paleo Chili recipe! It's made in the Instant Pot, so it's quick & easy, perfect for a weeknight meal or to meal prep for the week ahead. It's made with ground turkey, sweet potato, zucchini, and nutrient-dense bone broth. This recipe was created by our friend, Melissa over at Melissa’s Healthy Kitchen!

INGREDIENTS 

  • 1 Tbsp garlic ghee
  • 1/3 cup onions, diced
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 14.5 oz fire-roasted tomatoes
  • 4 oz can of diced green chiles
  • 1 - 24oz. bag of Bonafide Provisions Chicken Bone Broth 
  • 1 medium sweet potato, diced
  • 1 medium zucchini, diced
  • Sea salt + pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. Set instant pot to Sauté function and sauté onions with ghee and salt and pepper
  2. Add the ground turkey with seasoning and brown for a couple of minutes
  3. Add the fire-roasted tomatoes, diced green chiles, and bone broth, then mix until well combined
  4. Add the diced sweet potatoes and zucchini on top
  5. Turn off sauté function and set to chili function for 5 minutes on high pressure
  6. Once done let pressure release naturally (about 10-15 minutes)
  7. Top with cilantro
