Gut-Loving Hot Chocolate
We love turning our favorite treats into nourishing foods that are good for the body and soul and this is one of our favorite recipes. Our friend, Tory, over at Nourishing The Glow came up with this delicious, immune-boosting, gut-soothing take on hot cocoa. Follow her on Instagram for more gut-loving recipes!
Ingredients
- 13.5 ounces canned coconut milk…
- 1 cup Bonafide Provisions Chicken Bone Broth…
- ¾ Hu Kitchen Simple Chocolate Bar…
- 1 tablespoons cocoa powder…
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup…
- 2 tsps vanilla extract…
- Dash of cinnamon…
- Pinch of sea salt…
Directions:
Add all of the ingredients to a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring continuously until chocolate is completely melted to prevent burning. Whisk until well incorporated. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Pour into two mugs and top with your favorite dairy free-whipped cream. Enjoy!
